Joshua arrives today!!!

When I'm here, I feel pretty disconnected from the world. It's honestly like you could escape from everything for awhile and just be on the lake. I know that I am not, as I am typing on here right now, but honestly even doing this, I feel like I'm just updating something from afar, not reaching out and touching anyone. Isn't that what they used to claim making a phone call was? They, being the proverbial they of a phone book company or a phone company that I grew up with. Reach out and touch someone?
